F1 2016

F1 2016 is a racing game based on the 2016 Formula One season developed and published by Codemasters.

F1 2016 received a positive reception on release. Whilst F1 2015 was widely considered the worst of Codemasters’ F1 games, many critics consider F1 2016 to be the best. The racing itself is excellent, and the enhanced career mode makes the challenge much more coherent and interesting.

“On the track…where it really matters, it’s a joy to play with plenty of depth and complexity, and a career mode that’s made all the more engrossing by making what happens outside of the race both relevant and meaningful to your career as a Formula One driver” – Push Square

4. Madden NFL 17

Madden NFL 17

Madden 17 is a National Football League game published by EA Sports. Madden NFL 17 is the third entry in a row to receive critical acclaim, not always a trait of annual sports franchises. After improvements to passing and defence in recent instalments, Madden 17 focuses on the run game, developing new ground game mechanics that allow players to be more creative when carrying the ball.

Madden 17 also brings significant change to Franchise Mode, introducing Play The Moments. This new format lets you experience Madden’s equivelent of career mode, but rather than having to play every second of the season, you just take the field at the most interesting or critical points in a game.
