The console and Microsoft Windows versions of Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark are a third-person shooter. The game has a single-player campaign that will let players choose whether they would like to affiliate themselves with the Autobots to protect Earth, or the Decepticons to destroy Earth.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is an action-adventure game based on the 2014 film of the same name.

The game retains its open world gameplay of previous entries in the franchise. The game’s free roam area of Manhattan is more expansive, spacious and detailed than that of the previous game’s, and unlike the previous game, all versions of the game have free roam.

Lego The Hobbit

Lego The Hobbit is an action-adventure video game, the follow-up to Lego The Lord of the Rings based on the first two Hobbit films An Unexpected Journey and The Desolation of Smaug.

The game, similar to the latest Lego games is composed by a big map, rather than a single hub, the player can move along different events where different characters ask users to retain a specific material from a mission or to exchange materials.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is a 2013 first-person shooter video game and the tenth primary instalment in the Call of Duty series. The game was released with the launch of next-generation consoles; PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Whilst Call of Duty: Ghosts was praised for its compelling multiplayer gameplay, it was criticized for its single-player campaign, rehashing of familiar concepts and general lack of innovation.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

Black Flag is the sixth major instalment in the Assassin’s Creed series set in the early 18th century Caribbean during the Golden Age of Piracy, and follows notorious pirate Edward Kenway who stumbles upon the conflict waged by the Assassins and Templars.

Unlike previous games, gameplay elements focus more on ship-based exploration in the open world map, while also retaining the series’ third-person land-based exploration, melee combat, and stealth system. Multiplayer also returns, albeit with only land-based modes and settings.
